You have been trying. Now it is time to find out what is really happening between you.
A private three-day couples intensive for those who need more than another weekly session. Three consecutive days. One specialist. The time and space to reach the real issue, understand where you both stand, and decide what comes next.
One couple, one specialist
St Leonards or Narrabeen
For couples who are ready to know
Picture sitting across from your partner on day three
and finally understanding what they have been trying to say.
Not because you suddenly became better listeners. Because for the first time, you were given enough time, enough space, and the right kind of support to actually get there.
Some couples are trying. They show up to sessions, have the hard conversations, and still feel like something keeps slipping through the gap. The issue is rarely effort. It is that one hour a week is not enough time to reach the real thing, let alone do anything with it.
The Clarity Intensive keeps the work moving across three consecutive days. You return home at the end of each day and come back the next day while the conversations, insights, and changes are still fresh. Instead of waiting a week between sessions, each day builds directly on the one before so there is time to stay with what is emerging and take the work further.
You will leave with clarity. A real understanding of where you both stand, and a concrete plan for what comes next. Whether that is a renewed commitment or an honest conversation about what is not working, you will know. And knowing is what most couples have needed all along.
“Most couples do not need to try harder.
They need enough time to finally get to the real thing.”
Why some couples need more than weekly sessions
When you are ready to go deeper
than one hour a week allows.
Weekly counselling works well for many couples. The Clarity Intensive is for couples who need a faster, deeper, more concentrated process right now.
You do meaningful work in the session, then return home to the same environment where the same patterns are waiting.
A week passes between sessions. The momentum is hard to hold onto when life fills the space in between.
Applying what was learned happens outside the room, which is often where it is hardest to do.
For some couples, the format works well over time. For others, they need to go deeper faster than one hour a week allows.
The work compounds across three days. What you understand on day one is still present and building on day three.
The three days stay close together, so there is less time for old patterns to take over between sessions. You return home each evening and come back the next day while the work is still fresh.
The depth of work you would cover in months of weekly sessions happens in three focused, uninterrupted days.
You leave with clarity, tools, and a real plan, not another appointment to come back to next week.
This is for you if
You read this and think “that is exactly us.”
You have had the same argument more times than you can count and it never resolves.
You care about each other but something has shifted and you cannot reach each other the way you used to.
You have tried counselling before and felt like you ran out of time just when things were getting real.
One or both of you is not sure anymore, and you need to find out before any more time passes.
You are choosing to remarry and you want to go in with the strongest possible foundation this time.
You are tired of leaving sessions feeling like you just scratched the surface and nothing really changed.
Before the three days begin
Megan gets to know each of you first.
Before the intensive begins, Megan meets with each of you individually. Two private one-hour sessions each. Not as a couple. As individuals.
This is one of the most important parts of the process. The three days work better when Megan already understands who each person is, what they are carrying, what they need, and what they find difficult to say in front of their partner.
By the time you both walk in on day one, Megan already knows you. That changes everything about how the work unfolds.
Two private one-hour sessions with Megan for each person before the three days begin. Completely confidential. Completely yours. So that when the intensive starts, the real work can start too.

The three days
Three days. Each one builds on the last.
This is not three separate sessions. It is one continuous piece of work across three days. Each day goes deeper than the one before. By the third morning, you will be having conversations you have never been able to have before.
You say what you have not been saying.
Getting honest about what is actually happening.
Day one is about creating enough safety to tell the truth. Not the version you have been saying at home. The real one. What you have been carrying, what you have not said, and what you actually need the other person to understand.
Megan maps the emotional patterns underneath the presenting issue. Not just what you argue about, but why. The blueprints you each brought into this relationship. The ways you each learned to protect yourself that are now making it harder to reach each other. We name what has been going unnamed.
The day also includes a tailored activity to help you settle in together before the deeper work begins. Something quiet, purposeful, and designed for where you are right now.
Emotional pattern work
Getting to the real issue
Tailored activity
Morning and afternoon tea
Lunch included
what your partner has actually been trying to say.
Learning to hear each other without the filter.
Day two is where the real work happens. Megan teaches both of you the Speak Listen Translate method, a structured way to communicate that removes the defensive translation your brain automatically applies to everything your partner says.
Most couples who come for this intensive have not actually heard each other in months, sometimes years. Not because they were not listening. But because they were hearing the version of what was said that their own pain had already shaped. This is the day that changes.
A tailored activity between sessions gives you both space to process what is coming up before the next conversation begins.
Communication breakthrough
Conflict resolution tools
Tailored activity
Morning and afternoon tea
Lunch included
where you stand.
The day you decide what comes next.
Day three is about what you are taking home. Not a feeling, not a hope, not a promise to try harder. A real plan. Clear, specific, and agreed on by both of you.
Megan works with you to build your personalised Future Relationship Blueprint. A practical roadmap for how you communicate, what you each need, how you handle conflict when it comes up again, and what the next chapter looks like. Whether that chapter is a renewed commitment or an honest conversation about what is not working, you leave with clarity.
You will not leave with everything fixed. But you will leave knowing. And for most couples, that is the thing they have needed most.
Practical tools for home

What is included
A private professional space.
Everything else taken care of.
Everything you need across the three days is included. The pre-intensive individual sessions, the therapeutic work, the tailored activities, and all catering throughout. You just need to show up.
What to expect
What the three days actually feel like.
This is focused, honest, professionally held work. It is not always comfortable. But it is the kind of work that actually moves something.
You are the only couple in the practice for your intensive. Every session is confidential. There are no other clients, no shared spaces, and no group components of any kind.
Megan draws from the Gottman Method, Schema Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused approaches. The setting is simple. The depth of the work is not.
No two intensives are the same. The three days are shaped entirely around the two people in the room. The issues, the patterns, the pace, and the outcomes are all yours.
This is not a space where difficult things are softened to make them more comfortable. Megan will help you say what needs to be said and hear what needs to be heard.
Held at Megan’s practice in St Leonards or Narrabeen. Both locations are private, calm, and easy to reach. You choose the one that works best for you.
You will not leave this intensive in the same place you arrived. Whether that means a renewed commitment with a clear plan, or honest clarity about where things stand, you will know.

Who I am
I have spent 25 years working with people through some of the hardest things they have faced. I know what couples need when they are past the usual conversations.
Before I became a counsellor, I spent many years in executive leadership across international organisations. I understand what high-performing lives do quietly to a relationship. The slow disconnection. The conversations that stop happening. The distance that neither person chose but both started to live inside.
I am an accredited counsellor and mediator. I draw from the Gottman Method, Schema Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused approaches. What I bring most is 25 years of experience sitting with people through the full complexity of what relationships can become, and the honest belief that most couples, even the ones who feel finished, have more to work with than they can see from inside the pain.
The Clarity Intensive is not a comfortable process. It is an honest one. I will not tell you what you want to hear. I will help you both say and hear what you actually need to.

Common questions
Things couples ask before enquiring
The retreat at Jonah’s is an immersive experience. Luxury venue, ocean views, meals, yoga, couples massage, and three days designed to help couples reconnect in a beautiful setting. The Clarity Intensive is different. Same three-day structure, same depth of therapeutic work, same Future Relationship Blueprint. But this is not about romance or the setting. It is for couples who need focused, honest work in a private professional space. No venue. Just the work.
Yes. The Clarity Intensive is specifically designed for couples who are genuinely uncertain. You do not need to be confident about the outcome to begin. You just need to be willing to show up and be honest for three days. What you leave with will be clarity, whichever direction that points.
Because the three days work better when Megan already knows each of you as individuals. There are things people carry that are hard to say in front of their partner. The pre-intensive sessions give each person private space to share those things so that when the intensive starts, the real work can start too. Two sessions each. One hour each. Completely confidential.
Megan can speak privately with either or both of you before you commit to anything. There is no pressure and no obligation. Sometimes a single calm conversation is enough to understand whether this is the right step.
Weekly sessions have real limits. You go home between appointments and the same environment pulls the same patterns back. Three consecutive days of intensive work in a private, focused setting creates something different. There is time to get underneath the surface issue and actually do something with what is found there.
Completely. There are no group components, no other couples, and no sharing of any kind. What happens across the three days stays entirely between you, your partner, and Megan. That is not a policy. It is a commitment.
The intensive is designed to run across three consecutive days because the continuity is what makes it work. Each day builds on the one before. Megan will discuss scheduling with you at enquiry stage to find dates that work.
St Leonards is available any day of the week and is convenient for couples coming from the CBD and Lower North Shore. Narrabeen is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday and may suit couples based on the Northern Beaches. Both are equally private and set up for the same quality of focused work, so you can choose the location that is most practical for you.
Something brought you here.
That part of you is worth listening to.
You do not have to have it figured out before you reach out. You do not have to be certain. You just have to be willing to find out. Three days. One specialist. Everything you need to finally get to the real thing.
The first step is a private conversation with Megan. No commitment. No pressure. Just a calm, honest chat to see whether this is the right fit for you both.
Each intensive is completely private and built entirely around you.
